1-on-1 Muay Thai Coaching

1-on-1 Muay Thai Coaching Built Around You.

Whether you’re learning the basics or refining your fighting style, Matt helps you understand what to work on, why it matters, and how to improve.

Beginners and experienced martial artists welcome.

The gap

You’re putting the rounds in.
Why do you feel stuck?

Sometimes you know something isn’t right, but you can’t pinpoint why. A technique feels awkward. A bad habit keeps coming back. You’re training, but you’re not sure exactly what to fix.

  • A technique that works one day and disappears the next
  • A movement that feels wrong but you can’t quite name it
  • Corrections that never stick once class moves on
  • No clear idea of what to focus on next

More rounds aren’t always the answer. Sometimes you need someone who can see what you’re missing, explain why it matters, and show you how to correct it.

Koifish Prophet

The Person Behind Koifish Prophet.

Martial artist. Coach. Student of the art.

Great coaching starts with understanding the person in front of you. I take the time to listen, observe how you move, and identify what you need to improve.

There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to martial arts.

Your experience, body type, movement, and goals all shape how we work together. No two people train the same way. Whether you’re starting out, improving your technique, or preparing for competition, I break things down so you understand what works, why it works, and how to apply it.

My goal is simple: whether we train once or fifty times, you leave with something valuable you can take into your next session.

“Great coaching isn’t just fancy padwork. It’s about what you take away from the session that actually helps you improve.”

This past year, I decided to learn a new skill something martial arts related. I was very fortunate to be connected with Matt and discovered Muay Thai which I now love.

I firmly believe having Matt as a Trainer is the main reason I have continued with this challenging sport for many months and I plan to do this as long as my body will allow. His teaching method is not only technical, it’s a ton of fun and builds confidence.

I am a 61 years old and because of training Muay Thai with Matt I am, stronger, my balance is better and I am more confident. I walk away after each session smiling and my mind clear of the. stresses I had walking into training plus feeling like a total bad ass.

When I came to Matt i had no clue what I was doing, didn’t know how to throw a simple punch or a kick. Matt taught me everything from scratch and I can see & sense my improvement since then. Hes a very patient and relaxed person, if I don’t understand something he will break it up for me into small steps. A lot of privates are simply padwork ( not that there’s something wrong with it) but Matt actually wants to teach you the mechanics behind every punch. He’s very invested in his clients and I can sense his excitement when things click , he’s the type of person that I want in my corner for life

I had such a good experience training with Matt! He breaks things down into digestable steps. I got a good cardio workout every time and received valuable feedback about my technique. I highly recommend training with him!

Matt is a stellar coach/trainer. He uses many different modalities to help you understand techniques and to execute them. With play and laughter you'll still find yourself being pushed to limits you didnt know you could reach.

If you want to learn, get in shape, or just improve technique, while interacting with a real and thoughtful person who is a master of the craft, I think it would be difficult to find anyone better than Matt.
